Advanced Sound Recorder, puissant enregistreur et éditeur sonore, transforme un ordinateur en un studio d'enregistrement complet. Il permet d'enregistrer depuis un microphone, un flux Internet ou toute music jouée par un programme sonore. L'enregistrement peut se faire au format MP3, WAV, WMA, VQF, et OGG. Ses fonctions d'édition permettent outre les traditionnels copier-coller de faire subir au signal sonore diverses modifications par l'intermédiaire d'effets DSP.
