DeMille terminé le film épique The Ten Commandments . Après que le tournage ait été achevé, il a rasé au bulldozer les décors dans les dunes de sable de la côte centrale de Californie. Ses raisons pour le faire étaient très mystérieux. Cette histoire donne une explication quant aux raisons pour lesquelles il l'a fait. Il y avait réellement un artefact égyptien parmi les accessoires, mais ils ne savaient pas lequel renfermait l'esprit d'un dieu vengeur égyptien. Aujourd'hui, tout va recommencer...
