Quand Ann Norcut, la femme qui habite la maison où il vient d'intervenir, lui demande de l'aider à trouver une piste sur son mari disparu, Tom comprend qu'il a été piégé.Pour éviter de se voir impliqué dans cet assassinat, il va falloir qu'il aide Ann à découvrir la vérité.
